Leaves Battle
A Game for the Firith Co. Great Autumn Game Jam 2021
You've been cleaning your big ol' tree from the fallen leaves when a group of casseroles started to chase you to cook you up before Thanksgiving day! So grab your air blower/vacuum and defend yourself from those hungry metal cookers!
Controls:
- WASD : Move your character
- Mouse : Aiming
- Left mouse click : Shoot
- Hold Left mouse button : Recharge your shot
- Right mouse click : Vacuum leaves
Tips:
- Aim for the bushes if you run low of ammo! They can give you more leaves (or even health!)
- Your shot will be more powerful and faster if you keep charging it long enough. But be careful! If you charge it for too long you could burn your leaves and loose your ammo.

Pretty good entry :) I do feel like there's a "big" flaw, at least to me. I looove the mechanic you have in place, sucking the leaves and then shooting them all at once is very satisfying. The only thing is that leaves spawns so slowly I spent most of my time just running around. I think you should have leaves spawn in abundance, so there's always a lot of them and just reduce their damage. so instead of shooting 3-4 leaves at once we could shoot maybe 10-12 and really see that "poof" of leaves coming out. Still a very fun entry and definitely fits the theme, good work :) Rated!
